Tri NZ Sanctioned and Endorsed Events 2010/11
Tri NZ provide 2 different certification standards for the hosting of events in New Zealand.
Sanctioned Events: These are National Championships and more competitive type events where the focus is on rule enforcement and safety. Tri NZ provide a race referee and technical officials to monitor race rules.
Endorsed Events: These are more social/participation type events where the focus is on completion (rather than competition), rule education and safety. Tri NZ assist with the event planning and safety side of things
